High School Lacrosse Registration Open

High School Lacrosse Registration is open for the 2021 season.  We will be fielding three high school teams this season.  A boys and girls team at North and a boys team at East.  To register, click on the orange REGISTER NOW button in the upper right hand corner of the page.  Returning players will login using last years login/password.  New players must setup an account and then re enter the site and register for a team. If you have difficulty with the process then please contact me.  Please register as soon as possible as this is the best way that we can communicate pre-season activities.

The player fees are not set but are estimated.  We hope to finalize them in March once we get a final registration count.  The fees will not go any  higher than posted.  Please contact me if you need financial assistance with your fees.

Please look on the club website under documents for information about our Ad Sales program which can help reduce fees.

COVID PROTOCOLS FOR PRESEASON

COLUMBUS LACROSSE GUIDELINES AND PROCEDURES REGARDING COVID-19

The Columbus Lacrosse Club is committed to working with BCSC and the CDC to follow all best practices regarding the use of gymnasiums. Here are the guidelines and procedures we will be utilizing for preseason sessions in BCSC gyms.

  • No more than 25 athletes can be in the gym at a time.  We may require a pre-registration for practices after the first session.
  • Parents will drops their players off for practice outside the entrance to the gym door on the north side of the building. A coach will meet the player at the door, record their name, temperature check them and record answers to screening questions. (see below)  Athletes will not be able to attend practice if their temperature is over 100.4 degrees F.  No parents will be allowed in the facility.  Players are not to enter any other door nor wander the halls other than to use the restroom.
  • Any athlete or coach experiencing signs or symptoms of Covid-19 (fever, cough, shortness of breath, or other respiratory problems) or has had close contact in the last 14 days with anyone who has been diagnosed with Covid-19, is experiencing symptoms of COVID -19, or has a pending COVID -19 test result should remain at home and seek medical treatment.
  • If any athlete or coach does have a fever or symptoms of illnesses, they may not attend a practice until 14 days after the fever and symptoms have ceased.  Athletes and coaches must see a physician and be cleared for training after being diagnosed or suspected to have COVID -19.
  • Athletes will keep their masks on once inside the gym until coach signals the commencement of practice.  Players may opt to wear masks during practice.
  • Athletes will come dressed for practice and can put their remaining gear on in the bleacher area maintaining six feet distance from other players. Coaches will have an assigned area in either gym where athletes can leave their belongings.
  • Locker room use will not be permitted for changing. Athletes and coaches will have access to the bathroom in the hallway if they need to use the restroom.  A mask must be worn, within the building, outside of the gym at all times.
  • Athletes will bring their own water bottles and will not be permitted to share any equipment.
  • Coaches will wear their masks during practice unless they need to use a whistle and will maintain social distancing guidelines when speaking with athletes.
  • Coaches will do everything in their power to conduct drills that allow for proper social distancing.
  • Parents will be prepared to immediately pick up athletes at the end of the scheduled practice time at the same door.
  • Players are responsible for their own hydration and will not share bottles with others.
  • Anyone refusing to abide by these protocols will be asked to leave practice.
